Norjack is also the name of sophomore Michael Calhoun's clothing company, which stars will be wearing on the next season of the MTV show, "Taking the Stage" that is scheduled to air in January.

The Franz office of Biology Professor Michael Snow is meticulously clean, containing neat shelves of books, a very large desk and a few chairs. Amid the order stands a large, stuffed rhinoceros head.

While in high school, sophomore Monica Kendall used to play quidditch. Non-magic, muggle quidditch, of course. And on Oct. 30, Muggle Quidditch, University of Portland League, had its first game.

"Mount your brooms, everyone!"

Although the game that saw its genesis in the "Harry Potter" series is not an officially recognized sport at UP yet, Kendall hopes to get enough student support to do so.
