Oregon State University play-by-play announcer Mike Parker has been named the 2006 Oregon Sportscaster of the Year for the second consecutive year and fourth time in his career, the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association has announced. The 48-year-old also won the award in 1999, 2002 and 2005.
