National awareness week spotlights problem gambling
It's a social event, an intellectual challenge and a chance at some easy cash. Between 60 and 70 percent of college students gamble, but as many as one in five of those students may have trouble keeping it under control.

Lauren Dillard was chosen as the new editor in chief of The Daily Barometer, Jeremy Tricola will be the new radio station manager and Jeffery Peterson will be the new TV station manager.

According to a recent study by the Intellectual Property Institute at the University of Richmond, more than 50 percent of college students download illegally. The study also showed that students use peer-to-peer file sharing programs like
LimeWire more than anything else.
