OSU's women's lacrosse club team improved its season record to 4-1 over the weekend by pulling out victories over visiting Lewis & Clark University and Willamette University in a tournament held at Reser Stadium. The Beavers finished second to the defending league champion Ducks who dealt OSU their first loss of the season Saturday, 21-7.

No. 8 OSU beats Aggies on the road

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The No. 8 Oregon State baseball team used a 12-hit attack to defeat the No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies 6-5 in the final game of the four-day Aggies Baseball Classic at Olsen Field. The game was shortened to eight innings in a pre-arranged agreement with both teams due to the Beavers' travel schedule.

Club sports: Tennis takes down Cougs

The women's and men's OSU Club Tennis teams came away with matching victories in a dual meet against visiting Washington State on Saturday, winning seven out of eight matches. To make the contest shorter, both the men and women played "pro sets," in which the athletes only play against each other for one set instead of winning the best two out of three, which is traditional in college.

A special ending for what was a special season is in store for the OSU swim team this weekend in Minneapolis, Minn., at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. Led by sophomore Saori Haruguchi, four Beavers will travel to compete with the best Division I swimmers in the nation.
