The country of Saudi Arabia is becoming more familiar to American university students through interactions with Saudi students made possible by a newly developed scholarship program. OSU is home to the sixth largest Saudi student population in America because of this program.

Engineering program sees ranking in top 16th percent

Electrical engineers involved in industry leading research
On April 9, U.S. News and World Report magazine published a ranked list of America's top graduate schools. Oregon State University was ranked fifty-fourth in the electrical engineering category, among the top sixteenth percentile. Each year, the magazine ranks graduate school programs in the categories of education, engineering, business, law and medicine.

What would you like to do for a living after you graduate? In today's fierce economic climate, finding a good career can be tricky. But you could get lucky - Jordan Gushwa and Megan Beierle certainly did. The two recent graduates of Oregon State University's graphic design program beat out numerous applicants for positions at Edge Design, a design and communication agency.

Cheldelin Middle School's cafeteria was filled with a large audience as community members came to testify at a field hearing in front of the Joint Ways and Means Committee. Amid the crowd was ASOSU President Mike Olson, accompanied by other ASOSU staff, OSU students and faculty waiting to come and testify for funding higher education.

Community gets taste for student directed plays Auditions for One Act Plays will be held today and Thursday at 7 p.m. in Withycombe Hall. Auditions are open to the public, and students are encouraged to audition. Each play is student-written and directed.
