Men's hoops land another recruit for next season
A day after five players departed from program, Oregon State inks a shooting guard from Illinois
Oregon State men's basketball coach Jay John announced the signing of shooting guard Michael Stovall today. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Stovall was one of the top seniors in the state of Illinois at Marshall High School in Chicago.
"Michael is one of the best athletes that we've ever recruited," John said.
OSU athletes show off their skill
Proceeds for fifth annual charity event went to Bluffton (Ohio) University memorial fund this year
Beaver nation was introduced to another side of their beloved athletes with the fifth annual 'Other Side' talent show held at the LaSalle Stewart Center Wednesday night.
The event, which proceeds go to charity, has been a complete success since it began. This year with the Austin Auditorium nearly full, Chairperson Monica Storm estimated that the event brought in nearly two thousand dollars, which benefited the Bluffton (Ohio) University memorial fund.
