No. 9 baseball continues Pac-10 slate against Cal
From here on out, Beavers look to win every series after rocky start to conference play
With a "Friday the 13th" series opener against Cal, the OSU baseball team hopes that lightning will not strike twice.
Two weeks ago, the No. 9 Beavers (26-7 overall, 2-4 Pac-10) were swept by the University of Arizona in Tucson. Rebounding, the Beavers took the series against USC and knocked off in-state rival University of Portland on Tuesday.
No. 17 softball enters important conference homestand
OSU faces No. 14 UCLA today and No. 12 Huskies Saturday and Sunday after sweeping Portland State
Coming off a convincing sweep of in-state rival Portland State, the No. 17 Oregon State softball team returns to Pac-10 action today with No. 14 UCLA (26-10, 2-3 Pac-10) coming to town. The Beavers (31-12, 3-2 Pac-10) will then take on No. 12 Washington (24-10, 2-3 Pac-10) on Saturday and Sunday to wrap up the crucial conference weekend.
Men's golf heads to Stanford for final regular season meet
After two successful meets, OSU will get one more chance to compete before entering Pac-10 championships next week
Poised to build off one of the school's best performances last week, the OSU men's golf team travels to Palo Alto, Calif. to square off in the U.S. Intercollegiate. It will be the final tune-up before the Beavers head to the Pac-10 Championships in Eugene April 23-25.
Riley added to Winnipeg HOF
One of the most successful head coaches in the history of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' organization will be inducted into the Winnipeg Football Club Hall Of Fame in June, the football club announced today.
Former Bomber head coach Mike Riley is the lone inductee into the football club's Hall of Fame for 2007.
