Editorial - Moms and beer pong
Everyone loves Mom's Weekend, right?
Right.
And judging from the amount of pictures on Facebook that show students playing, we're going out on a limb and suggesting that most students love beer pong, right?
Right.
So, that would lead us to assume when you put the two together it becomes something of spectacular proportions, right?
Wrong.
Thinking on the sexy side of things
I was debating about what to write this week and was having a tough time whittling down the choices - God knows this has been a busy news week.
First, Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days of hard time in the slammer. Which, you know, means that she'll be spending about a month and a half in a posh minimal security holding center where the worst thing she'll be faced with is that they only have basic cable.
An American identity
Over the last five weeks that I have spent studying abroad I have consistently discussed, both through these articles and to those close to me, the constant differences that I have witnessed while living in Italy. Yet, the topic I want to address today, which has been on the top of mind really since arriving here has nothing to do with Italian culture directly, but rather deals with what I have come to realize about our own culture, and what it really means to be an American abroad.

Once again, I must encourage you to take one of the many fine ethnic studies courses they offer here at OSU. Your ignorance is abundant in so many ways and your grasp of history and current events is less than minimal.
