Students are being encouraged - via Facebook invitation and word-of-mouth - to 'blackout' Reser Stadium Saturday for the football game against the Arizona Wildcats. The idea is to fill at least the student section with as much black-colored clothing and as little orange as possible.

Man faces charges for theft of bleachers

An arrest has been made in the theft of 40 aluminum bleachers stolen from the OSU Softball Complex, according to an Oregon State Police press release issued Thursday afternoon. Richard Kenneth Roberston, 51, was arrested early Thursday morning as part an investigation conducted by Trooper Chris Graves.

Biotech reaction put to debate in lecture series

These are just two of the questions that will be addressed in a new lecture series coming to the OSU campus. The OSU Horning Endowment, in the Humanities Lecture Series, will collaborate with OSU Outreach in Biotechnology's 'Food for Thought Series' to bring together seven speakers to address biotechnology issues.

Party in MU provided safe sex information

Free condoms, contraceptives, safe sex education offered at Student Health Services Safer Sex Party
A Safer Sex Party in the MU Lounge attracted students who milled about, picking up free condoms and contraceptives as well as receiving sexual health information. It was hosted by Student Health Service's Health Promotion department Thursday night. "Basically we try to provide a comprehensive sex program on campus," said Melinda Shell, a SHS health educator.
