Chaplin wins best, Beavers take second
Tasha Smith, Jamie Lanz win events, Tanya Chaplin brings home Coach of the Year honors at Pac-10 Championships
Oregon State juniors Tasha Smith and Jami Lanz combined to win three individual titles and the seventh-ranked Beavers finished second at the Pac-10 Championships Saturday evening. Tanya Chaplin was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year.
Oregon State, which has beaten every team in the Pac-10 this season, improves its record to 17-4.

Hard work - going a long way

Two Oregon State wrestlers were named to the Pac-10 All-Academic Wrestling Teams, announced Monday by commissioner Tom Hansen.
Junior Kyle Bressler (Federal Way, Wash.) earned first team honors, while redshirt freshman Tim Patrick (Milwaukie, Ore.) earned honorable mention.
