Beatle covers raise dollars for cause
Milam Auditorium was filled with the collective sounds of Pink Floyd and the Beatles for the third installment of popular benefit concert "The Beatles at OSU" last Friday. In the first of two concerts, local musicians collaborated to perform rousing renditions of the Beatles' "Revolver" and Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" - with all proceeds donated towards the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV), a local non-profit community service organization.

ASOSU ticket out of running before elections

Rumors were confirmed Monday that Nadine Honda and Paul Heim have removed themselves from the ASOSU leadership race. This news comes two days before voting will begin online. Honda said that the decision to withdraw was "90 percent" hers, due to personal reasons that she is willing to disclose on a one-on-one basis to students and staff.

Tatyana Ali stops at OSU to speak for Sen. Obama

"Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star speaks on Obama, politics, leadership, acting, music
Tatyana Ali, best known for her role as Ashley Banks from the hit sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," made a visit to OSU yesterday to campaign for senator Barack Obama. Working with the Obama campaign, Ali has been canvassing cities and universities in Iowa, South Carolina, Nevada and Oregon, according to her blog.

Kecia Sakugawa is not the president of Hui'o Hawai'i. The president is Roxanne Batalon. There were five Hawaiian dances, two Tahitian Dances, one Maori Dance and three Samoan Dances at the Luau. Kalua pig and Shoyu chicken were served at the event. A raffle included a $50 prize to Aomatsu Restaurant.
