'Pride' drags into the night
OSU once again welcomed the LGBT community last Friday to celebrate diversity, friendship and fun, all while looking amazing. The MU ballroom was filled with laughter and acceptance for the Drag Show, the final event of this year's Queer Pride Week. Drag queens, kings and their entourage - each a student - took to the stage to show off their performance skills and promote gender diversity and acceptance.

Suicide is the second-leading cause of death among college students and is rooted around untreated depression. "Studies indicate that college students who are suicidal are quiet, reserved, depressed and socially isolated," said Dave Johnson, a counselor for American Mental Health.

Many people enjoy riding bikes and competitive team sports, but one group of OSU students and community members combine them into Bike Polo: field hockey on a bike. Players steer and brake with one hand and swing a mallet with the other. "It's the most fun you can have on a bike," said Eilif Knutson, unofficial leader of the bike polo team, "I compare it to a dogfight.
