The month when it's everybody's goal (everybody who participates, that is) to end up looking like Tom Hanks halfway through "Castaway" or Robert Redford in "Jeremiah Johnson.

Soccer ends on high note

After a victory over Washington in Seattle to end season, Oregon State puts year behind
The Oregon State men's soccer team beat the University of Washington 1-0 last Friday night. If there is such a thing as a bittersweet win, this was it, as it ended the season for the Beavers. Eight seniors played their final game in their OSU careers. "It's very nice to end on a positive note with the boys," Oregon State head coach Dana Taylor said.

Ursus Arctus Californicus

This past weekend was a huge one for the home team yet again. It's great to be a Beaver. Dads, Benny and even the newly introduced Junior Benny all took part in some form of the festivities. Once again, an all-hailed California school took a flight up to Corvallis for some clean air, and, of course, a game.
