Twelve new Oregon State Police recruit troopers graduated from the Oregon Public Safety Academy on Friday. Richard Vu, 48, is the recruit graduate who has been assigned to report to the Oregon State University Patrol Office. The Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) provide basic police training required for the recruits to graduate.
