Members of the OSU Flying Club have their heads in the clouds on a regular basis, and they're not daydreaming. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to giving members and alumni of OSU and Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) an inexpensive opportunity to learn how to fly, with a strong emphasis on safety.

Students gathered Monday night in order to hear about the conflict in Congo in which 45,000 people are killed each month. OSU Students Taking Action Now: Darfur (STAND) is a chapter of a national anti-genocide coalition. While the organization's main focus is on Darfur, the group has decided to extend their focus to Congo.

Yourcampusrent.com has gone from catering only to Corvallis students for alternative housing to expanding to more than 600 other universities and colleges nationwide. Marques Alexander, a political science major at OSU, and Alex Neighbors, a computer science major, are the creators of the site.
