Four-year Knights player Billy Clontz returns to hometown Corvallis for final season of summer college ball
For some it almost appears as a joke; in fact, last year when asked about his greatest baseball memory, Corvallis Knights utility man Billy Clontz answered with a joking-yet-true response.
"Playing four years at Mt. Hood," he replied.
Clontz did not exactly play four seasons for the community college located in Gresham, Ore.

Knights set record
On a festive night at the ballpark, 3,506 fans packed Goss Stadium to set a new West Coast League single-game attendance record. The old mark was set by Bend this season as 2,679 fans attended the Elks' home opener.
Knights fans enjoyed a great game, a beautiful summer evening and a spectacular post-game fireworks show.
