Junior forward Bryan Jordan came off the bench to score two goals and help the No. 17 Oregon State men's soccer team to an important 3-1 Pacific-10 Conference victory at Stanford on Sunday afternoon.

The Beavers (8-3-4 overall, 4-1 Pacific-10) bounced back successfully from their first conference loss (at No. 12 California on Friday) and are now at the halfway point of the Pac-10 season. It's only the second time in 12 tries that OSU has won at Stanford (3-8-2, 0-4-1).

"This was another impressive performance by our guys," OSU coach Dana Taylor said. "I'm very pleased to get a result on the road like this. This is a difficult road trip and Stanford played very hard. We just had a few special players that were able to break the game open."
