"I have a bunch of family that will be up this weekend and I am really excited," Onstad said. "I am also sad at the same time because it's bittersweet. It's going to be fun because the past few years you watch senior day and it's weird to be a part of it now."

On Sunday at 11 a.m., the Bruins (16-2, 7-0) will look to extend their 10-game winning streak against the Beavers. Behind probable Pac-10 freshman of the year Lauren Cheney (her 14 goals lead the conference), the Bruins have blown through conference play with little trouble. UCLA has outscored its opponents 15-3 in conference play and its toughest game came in a 2-1 overtime win over USC.

"They have depth from one through 20-odd," OSU coach Steve Fennah said. "On any given day any one of those individuals can beat you and they are also playing well as a team."

The Beavers are set to miss the postseason for the 12th consecutive season, and the ninth under Fennah. What still can be achieved is a 10-win season and the possibility of knocking off two ranked teams. With a season of near misses almost finished, capping the weekend off with two wins would not be a bad way to send off the four seniors.

"Our goal is to come out and end on a good weekend," Wippel said. "We've had a rough season and that's all we can really hope for this weekend ... to end on a good note."

"Regardless of how we did this season I have still had a great time," Onstad said. "It's fun to be able to get a lot of action and make fun saves. That's kind of the way I am going into this weekend. Just to have fun with it and end on a good note."
