Report says enrollment up for OSU

Enrollment numbers are out and OSU has had an increase in registered students for 2007 fall term - a total of 19,753 students.
According to the Oregon University System, OSU undergraduate student numbers increased by 397 students. Incoming freshmen enrollment increased by 4 percent to 3,141, while transfer student numbers slid down to 1,095 - a decline of 5 percent.
Out of newly admitted undergraduates, 830 are nonresidents - an increase of 15 percent from the previous year.
The OSU Cascades Campus has also experienced an increase in admission to 497 students - two more than 2006.
