Yea to Cannabis College in San Francisco, a new college for people interested in joining the medical marijuana field. Three cheers for California's version of higher education.

Nay to California universities for figuring this out before Oregon. Let's reevaluate our state's priorities, people.

Yea to having a leap year this year. Ever wonder what is so wrong with February that is only has 28 or 29 days versus all the other months with 30 or 31?

Nay to people who have the misfortune of a Feb. 29 birthday. Congrats on finally turning 21, Grandpa! Don't get too crazy!

Yea to a Detroit, Mich. man for creating what he believes to be the "largest hamburger commercially available." Mmm…

Nay to this 134-pound heart attack on a 50-pound bun for costing $350. We'll stick with the smaller, "silent killer" type of fast food, thanks.

Yea to Starbucks for closing all of its stores nationwide for three hours last night to improve the "Starbucks experience."

Nay to using really obviously lame excuses in place of saying "our stores are sucking and we need to save money" - and to getting rid of hot breakfast sandwiches, which were reported as popular with customers though baristas thought they were "smelly." Really?

Yea to an article from MSN.com explaining how to train your mate with tips from animal trainers! Some of them actually make sense, but we're warning people not to slip up and say the wrong name, like Sparky. Talk about awkward.

Nay to a New Zealand man for repeatedly violating the seatbelt laws and manufacturing an extra belt in his car to appear as though he were wearing one. He died last year during a low-impact crash that threw him into the steering wheel. Not so crafty after all.

Yea to a crafty homeless man from Florida. He called 911 to report a fight, then told the officer he just wanted to go to jail to have somewhere to sleep. After the officer left him, he called 911 again and was arrested - and brought to jail - for abusing 911.

Nay to the fact that even though the writers strike is over we have to wait until April or later to see the return of our favorite shows. Look at who you're really hurting here, writers! Can't you see the tears in our eyes?

Yea to the strike for leaving so many actors out of regular work that they came together for a segment on Jimmy Kimmel called "He's F---ing Ben Affleck." Video wars from Sarah Silverman and Matt Damon to Kimmel and Affleck? That's something to be thankful for.
