Oregon State senior Ashley Allen, junior Mercedes Fox-Griffin and freshman Talisa Rhea have each been honored by the Pac-10 Conference on the league's postseason honors list, as announced on Thursday.

Fox-Griffin was named to the conference's third team and all-defensive honorable mention squad. Allen was named All-Pac-10 honorable mention while Rhea was named to the All-Freshman team.

Entering Friday night's Pac-10 Tournament game, Fox-Griffin, averaging 8.6 points per game, is second with 4.85 assists. In conference games only, she leads Oregon State with 4.83 assists and is fourth with 9.1 points per game. Fox-Griffin, a native of La Jolla, Calif., currently ranks 10th in OSU history with 330 assists after just three seasons in Corvallis and two seasons as a full-time starter at point guard.

Allen, meanwhile, earned All-Pac-10 honorable mention after playing in all 29 games for the Beavers this season. She upped her scoring average to 15.3 points per game this season after finishing with 7.6 per game in 2006-07. In Pac-10 games, she started all 18, averaging 12.0 points per game. She knocked down 29 3-pointers.

Rhea, a native of Juneau, Ala., finished the regular season as one of the most impressive 3-point shooters in Beavers' history. The guard ended the 2007-08 regular season with 64 3-pointers, placing her second in OSU single-season history, needing five more to tie Felicia Ragland (2001-02) for most in any one campaign. Rhea finished the season with 10.3 points per game and 9.8 in conference-only games.

It is Rhea's second Pac-10 honor this season. The freshman was named the conference's Player of the Week after averaging 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in victories over Washington and Washington State.

Stanford's Candice Wiggins was named the conference's Player of the Year, while Kayla Pederson earned Freshman of the Year honors and Tara VanDerveer was named as the Coach of the Year. Arizona State's Briann January was named the Pac-10's Defensive Player of the Year.

The conference's coaches voted for each category and were not allowed to cast a ballot for their own players.
