If an athlete chooses to enter a guilty plea or one of no contest or is convicted of a felony, the athlete will be permanently dismissed from the team.
All three men are scheduled to appear in court on May 8 at 9 a.m.
"May 8 will be the first time officially appearing on the charges," Haroldson said. "I am hopeful at that time that we will have reached some sort of solution in the case."
The Oregon Revised Statutes describe circumstances such as these as a felony to "intentionally discharge a firearm, blowgun, bow and arrow, crossbow or explosive device within the city limits of any city or within residential areas within urban growth boundaries at or in the direction of any person, building, structure or vehicle within range of the weapon without the legal authority for such a discharge."
"It is important to look at all of the evidence and base decisions on the evidence," Haroldson said.
