Students charged in cocaine bust

Six of those connected, arrested on April 14 and 15, were OSU students.
The men were arrested on accusations of distributing cocaine, marijuana and Ecstasy in the area.
Search warrants were issued for two locations in Corvallis including 683 NW 23rd St. and 1472 NW 20th Pl.
Officers confiscated over a pound of cocaine, 30 pills of Ecstasy, an ounce of marijuana and $9,000 in cash.
On several occasions during the investigation, undercover officers purchased cocaine and/or marijuana from the accused, according to a press release from the Corvallis Police.
Jeffrey D. Kauppi, 24, of 170 N.W. 35th St. is accused of delivery of a controlled Substance, cocaine.
Paul Wessinger and Benjamin C. Barr, both 19, are accused of three counts of delivery of a controlled substance for cocaine, marijuana and Ecstasy.
Craig S. Shearmire, 19, is accused of delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine.
Nicholas A. Bojlesen, 20, is accused of delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana.
Andrew Westlund, 20, is accused of delivery of a controlled substance, marijuana.
Thomas A. Habelt, 24, is accused of two counts for delivering a controlled substance, cocaine and marijuana, endangering the welfare of a minor and first-degree child neglect.
All of the men were lodged at the Benton County Jail.
