Pacman Jones has entered rehab. Only six months after his reinstatement into the NFL, Adam "Pacman" Jones is again finding himself in another predicament with the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Recently returning from a 17 month suspension, Jones seemed to have his head on straight upon his return, starting every game this season and recording 25 tackles and 11 pass deflections.

Not too fast. On Tuesday Jones was suspended four games after an alcohol-related incident at a private party in Dallas. It is said that Jones got into a scuffle on Oct. 8 with his body guard, assigned to him by the Cowboys.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told The Associated Press Monday that the troubled player has checked into an alcohol treatment facility "in another part of the country" and that the process was one that is "totally done through and by the NFL."

The bodyguard's were assigned to Adam Jones by the Cowboys in hopes of keeping an eye on him and restraining him from any instances where he may act in ways against NFL personal conduct policy. Unfortunately, the team was not that lucky. Jerry Jones spoke of the bodyguards, saying "They lost their job when he got suspended. They lost it because there's no more Adam to look out for."

Following the Cowboys game Nov. 16 at Washington, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will decide whether or not this suspension is fitting or not; and still has a lifetime ban as a definite possibility. Another reinstatement is dependent upon strict obedience at his treatment center and full clinical evaluation by clinical experts.

Pacman Jones' 2007 season was missed entirely while he was a member of the Tennessee Titans. During his time as a Titan, Jones was arrested six times and involved in 12 separate events requiring police involvement. In April, he was traded to Dallas where he had been staying out of trouble up until the Dallas hotel scuffle. The Dallas Police Department responded to a disturbance call around 11 p.m., reporting that two men were arguing and that a glass item in the bathroom was shattered during their altercation. By the time police arrived on the scene, the situation had come to an end.
