A Christmas Gift to the Community, 7 p.m. in LaSells Stewart Center Austin Auditorium, FREE! (Donation is optional). As a gift to our community, Friends of the Fa.m.ily will sponsor its 5th annual Christmas Concert, featuring singer-songwriter Scott Krippayne and Corvallis's own Heart of the Valley Children's Choir.
FST Faculty Fall Seminar Series: Individual Differences in Oral Sensitivity: From Mechanisms to Health Implications, 3:30 p.m. in Wiegand Hall Room 238, FREE! Speaker: Dr. Juyun Lim, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Food Science & Technology
Traffic Engineering Funda.m.entals (Through Thursday), 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in LaSells Stewart Center Ag Science Room, $355. This three day course is designed for all people working in the traffic field, including engineers, technicians, educators, and enforcement personnel.

Wells and the Well-Being of Oregon, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Northwest Viticulture Center outside Salem, FREE! The OSU Institute for Water and Watersheds, Oregon Sea Grant Extension, and the Oregon Water Resources Department are convening this one-day symposium designed to provide information on wells with a focus on domestic wells and ground water challenged areas. Keynoting the conference will be Kevin McCray, Executive Director of the National Ground Water Association. Melinda Kassen, Trout Unlimited, will discuss ground water use in western states.
