An outpour of emotion spilled onto the court after the final buzzer against Stanford last weekend, and Oregon State can only expect that same emotion will be in full force in the last game at home for the Ducks this season.
"Everybody has told me how hard it is to play there and how good their fans are," Robinson said. "We're prepared for that. Our guys are used to playing in front of big crowds and loud crowds, so I don't think the noise is going to bother us. We don't prepare for the place; we just prepare for the team."
Preparing for the team will be a little easier this time around, as the Beavers have eight days between games to get ready for the Ducks and, more importantly, to rest up.
"At this time of year, the more rest you can get the better," Robinson said. "This one-game week came at the right time. We're wearing down like everyone else is, so we can use the extra days' rest."
Rest is a rare luxury during the college basketball season, but for some Sunday can't come soon enough.
"I'm ready to play right now," Claitt said. "It's fun playing basketball, but it's even more fun when your team is doing good, and we're winning so I'm having fun with these guys. I just can't wait to get out there Sunday."
As excited as the Beavers are to play this game, the Duck fans equally enthusiastic to have the Beavers in Mac Court one more time.
"It's going to be fun. I know the fans are going to be on top of us, and I know they're going to be talking," Claitt said. "But we've shown we can win any game in the Pac-10, so we're going into this game thinking that we're going to go down there and get a win."
The Beavers meet the Ducks at 7 p.m. on Sunday night. The game will air on FSN.
