This past weekend, the free agent signing period in the NFL took a pretty dramatic turn as Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys gave Terrell Owens his walking papers and let him hit the open market. Owens' agent Drew Rosenhaus was extremely confident that his client would get an offer soon, and he did with the Buffalo Bills signing him to a one-year deal worth $6.5 million.

Owens who currently is at the tender age of 35 has shown no signs of wearing down, as he's been the NFL's number one touchdown grabber the past two seasons. However the risk that comes along with the reward that T.O. provides has nothing to do with age, it has everything to do with how he affects the locker room.

T.O. has played for three different teams in his NFL career - three teams lead by three different quarterbacks: Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb and, of course, Tony Romo. When T.O. first moved in, his relationship with these quarterbacks seemed like a match made in heaven, but with time each relationship crumbled to bits and eventually there were more soap opera cameras at the team's facilities than NFL Network cameras.

I think my favorite moment of the Owens drama was when he left San Francisco and publicly called Jeff Garcia's sexuality into question. Really T.O., have you seen Garcia's wife? Just in case you haven't, she puts every one of the Oakland Raiderettes to shame, and if you don't believe me well then Google image search "Jeff Garcia's Wife" and I dare you to tell me different.

From there, Owens demanded a trade, so they sent him to Baltimore. But he decided he didn't like Baltimore, so he demanded another trade just hours after the first trade. This sent him to Philadelphia, where the dramatic relationship between him and Donovan McNabb began.

In their first season together, the Eagles made it to the Super Bowl despite not having T.O. for all of the playoffs leading up to their championship match with the New England Patriots. Although T.O. did play in the game, it wasn't enough as the Patriots defended their title and defeated the Eagles 24-21.
