The Corvallis Shari's Restaurant, located on N.W. 9th Street, was robbed early Friday morning.

On Friday, April 10 at approximately 4:45 a.m., a white male entered Shari's Restaurant, located on 1117 N.W. 9th St., armed with what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun, according to the Corvallis Police Department.

The suspect approached a restaurant employee, demanding cash from the front register. No one was injured during the altercation, and the suspect fled Shari's in an unknown direction, making out with a small, undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

Besides being a white male, the suspect is also described as being approximately six-foot-three-inches tall and very thin. He was described as wearing a bandana, which covered his face, as well as a baseball cap, blue jeans and a bright orange hooded sweatshirt.

As of Monday, Lt. Tim Brewer of the Corvallis Police Department stated that they had not made any arrests and no new evidence had been brought to their attention.

If there is any information that could lead to the identity or whereabouts of the described suspect, Corvallis Police are asking that you contact Detective Poole at 541-766-6924.
