Yea to Easter and its beloved fluffy sign of spring - the Easter Bunny.
Nay to Easter in New Zealand, where the murder of the Easter Bunny is a ritualized family event. The Central Otago region of the country hosts an annual rabbit hunt. This year, 460 shooters broke up into 39 teams, and the winning team killed 978 rabbits. Seriously.
Yea to the animal kingdom uniting in defense of the rabbit. A woman was mauled by a polar bear after climbing into the bear's cage at the Berlin Zoo in Germany. Apparently the woman was an out-of-work teacher who couldn't find a job.
Nay to the bad economy forcing people to resort to acts of extreme stupidity, such as swimming with polar bears, or filing lawsuits over T-shirt cannons, like an Indiana man did. He is suing the Chicago White Sox over injuries he suffered while fighting over a free T-shirt launched from a cannon during a baseball game. He's looking for $75,000 in damages.
Yea for T-shirt cannons. They're just awesome.
Nay to government agencies for proposing stupid regulations. The California Energy Commission proposed that TV screens be made 40 inches or less as a way to cut down on energy consumption. Hey California, this is America, and we like our TVs big.
Yea to community service for keeping people away from their TVs and thus saving energy. Recently, several Duck basketball players each received 15 hours of community service for shooting at ducks in a park. Be proud of your work for the environment.
Nay to wireless Internet not being available worldwide. Two men in Texas were forced to rob an adult video of more than 50 movies. If they were able to watch porn on their own computers, this incident probably would never have happened.
Yea to old men starring in porn. A 75-year-old Japanese man debuted in his first movie at age 59 and has since made more than 200 movies. He has given hope to those of us in dry spells, reminding us that someday we too may get some.
Nay to neighbors who ruin your 8 p.m. outdoor activities by calling the cops and giving you a noise violation.
Yea to the elementary school in Texas that pissed off its neighbor so much that the school received a noise violation this week. Nice job, kids.
Yea to Facebook for giving us the option to be a fan of God on Facebook. However …
Nay to Facebook for making us feel guilty for clicking "x" and not becoming a fan of God. Come on, being friends with McLovin and FMyLife.com along with God is a little weird. But really …
Yea to being a fan of McLovin on Facebook.
