The half closed 2-0 with the Beavers executing beautifully and playing very well as a team.
Two goals found the back of the net in the second half. Bryan Ramsey put one in to get the half started off right.
Playing off the first goal, Jordan Harris put a diving header towards the goal. Chris Harms than capitalized by driving the ball into the net with power Dwight Howard would be proud of. The referee than stole the goal from Harms and the rest of Oregon State after signaling offsides. No goal, but a great all-around game from the young Beavers.
After a break, Oregon State was back on the field; capitalizing on what should have been a worn out OSU squad proved impossible for the Cascade Surge.
Hasson, wearing orange once again, found the net late in the second half during a storm of shots on the Surge goalkeeper. On the other end, Steve Spangler and Alex Sueza split time at keeper and did a magnificent job.
Sueza came up huge during the waning minutes of the second game by swallowing up an excellent corner kick by the Surge.
"They stepped it up today," said head coach Dana Taylor of his teams' efforts. "They really concentrated, having to play with tried legs."
