OSU to host 2011 Regional
Oregon State has been selected to host the 2011 NCAA Women's Gymnastics West Regional Championships, as announced recently by the NCAA. The April 2, 2011 regional will mark the 13th time in history that Oregon State has hosted the event.
Oregon State last hosted the NCAA West Regional in 2008 when the Beavers enjoyed a huge night, knocking off top-seeded Michigan to earn OSU's first regional championship since 1992.
The West Regional field will include six teams, with the top two finishers advancing to the NCAA Championships.

Volleyball kicks off spring
The Oregon State volleyball team is gearing up for three spring exhibition matches, kicking off today against an Oregon State alumni team before taking on Oregon on Tuesday, May 5, and wrapping up at home against Western Oregon on Saturday, May 9. Admission is free for all matches.
Familiar faces will be present for today's alumni match, including recently departed Ashley Evans, Kristin Murray and Abby Windell. The competition will take place in Dixon Recreation Center on the Oregon State campus on the lower court, beginning at 7 p.m.
The Beavers will return home to host Western Oregon on Saturday, May 9, at 8 p.m. to cap off the 2009 Willamette Volleyball Classic in Gill Coliseum.

Civil War round six
It was announced Tuesday that the Oregon State baseball team will play a neutral site game with Oregon on May 20 at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer, Ore. The Civil War I-5 Iris Festival Classic will start at 6 p.m.
Prices to the game are $20 for lower reserved, $15 for upper reserved and $10 for general admission. Tickets are available through the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes box office (503-390-2225) or online at www.volcanoestickets.com.
A coin toss was performed before Tuesday night's game and it was determined that the Ducks will be the home team and occupy the third base dugout.
