Football with dad
Oregon State University students may purchase Dad's Weekend tickets for the Nov. 14 home football game against the Washington Huskies. Students are reminded that there are limited supplies of tickets available.
Parents may purchase up to two tickets for Dad's Weekend for $75 each. A free student ticket will be processed with the purchased parent ticket(s) at the time of order. The student's OSU identification number must be provided at that time.
Tickets are available by calling 1-800-GO-BEAVS and can also be purchased at the Ticket Office in Gill Coliseum, Room 107. The Ticket Office is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dad's Weekend tickets are located in the south end zone. Tickets will be mailed out in early October once student identification numbers are verified.

Rowers earn 14 honors
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - A total of 14 Oregon State student-athletes were named to the various men's and women's rowing Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic teams announced by Commissioner Tom Hansen Friday.
To be eligible for selection to an academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or substitute of significant contribution.
On the women's side, seniors Alina Haberstroh, Jane Ivey, Sarah Joos, Melissa Penwell, juniors Katie Humm and Sarah Jarrett and sophomore Julia Dissen made the first team. Juniors Devery Karz, Celia Magistrale, Kylie Robertson and sophomore Meghan Leineweber received second team honors.
Ivey and Penwell secured first team honors for the third straight year, while Humm and Joos each earned first team for the first time after two previous second team honors.
Representing the men's team are senior Will Gustafson and sophomore Sam Schwartz on the first team. Senior Beth Olsen received second team honors.
Gustafson's first team award is the third of his career.
